Meet Abi Clifford - Our New Sports Therapist!
No, it’s not deja vu; we really have got yet another great practitioner joining the ranks here at Pyramid Health!
Hot on the heels of Yasmin, our new Chiropractor, Abi joins us as a 2025 Sports Therapy graduate and is currently in the final stages of a Masters degree in Sports Rehabilitation.
An Exmouth native, Abi has earned her BSc from Plymouth University and her Masters is being conducted at Health Sciences University in Bournemouth. HSU was formerly known as the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, whose graduates include our very own Mike and Yasmin. Small world!
Abi brings with her a broad experience - she has dealt with the inside of men’s rugby changing rooms at Crediton and Exeter Saracens rugby clubs as their designated Sports Therapist, as well as assisting with Physiotherapist-led rehabilitation of neurological and musculoskeletal (MSK) problems in the NHS.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Pyramid Health. Their philosophy aligns perfectly with mine - taking the best of evidence-based care and treating the person in front of you, not just the condition. I can’t wait to get started.”
If you’re not sure about what Sports Rehab is or whether it can help you… Don’t be put off by the name - it’s not just for athletes, as Hannah wrote recently. If you’ve got persistent niggles, Abi is offering a free 30-minute rehab assessment that can tell you if and how sports rehab can help. You’ll need to email us on reception@pyramidhealth.co.uk to book this - it’s not on the portal.
Abi is with us on Fridays (with more to come - watch this space!) and until the end of July, you can get 20% off massage appointments with her with the code ABI20 when booking online - use the widget below to find your slot!
